...and here it is... the last part of this story. I have really, really enjoyed writing it and working with such a different style from my usual. I'm very happy that it seems to have struck a note with a lot of readers, and I'm looking forward to hearing what everyone thinks of this final chapter.

This idea came to me as I was lying in bed a week ago, and although I didn't really want to write it, I just couldn't get House's voice out of my head. The first paragraph is exactly what sprang into my mind, fully formed, as I lay on the edge of sleep. The style is a different one for me, but like I said, that first paragraph just came out that way and it felt natural to just let it flow from there. There will be five parts to this story and they are already mapped out, so hopefully they won't take long to write and post.
